Amour Card

Happy weekend everyone!  Sorry I haven't posted all week, a few days ago I had to have a small surgery so I have been spending a lot of time napping and relaxing.  Today I'm feeling a little better so I'm back to share a Valentine's card.

This card is very simple but very romantic.  I stuck with the classic colors for Valentine's Day - red, pink, white and cream.

Since this card is not from one of my card club kits, here is a supply list:

Card base:  Jo Ann Craft Essentials 5 1/2 x 5 1/2
Heart, flower and stickers:  Making Memories Vintage Findings
Velvet ribbon and mini brads:  Autumn Leaves
Fabric brad:  unknown

I like the soft feeling of this card, truly romantic.

I layered some cardstock scraps underneath the sentiment to pop it up and add dimension.

I love brads and try to use them whenever I can!  The subtle pattern on the heart is what drew my eye to it.

The similar textures in the velvet ribbon, fabric brad and flower keep a nice consistency throughout the card.

There you have it!  A simple card that's great for that special someone in your life!  Thank you for visiting!

Happy Scrapping!  Candice
