2010 Christmas Album - Page 15

Greetings to the blogosphere!  I'm really enjoying posting to my blog daily, I may have to add this to my list of goals for 2012!  All too often I plan on posting new LO's or cards or projects each and every day but then I get busy and slack on the blog front.  Hopefully I can keep this up!

Day 15 wasn't the most exciting day of our December last year.  E was home sick and I stayed home with him.  He spent his day napping, relaxing and trying to eat the all important chicken noodle soup.  I spent the day tidying, worrying, snapping the odd picture and soothing my boy. The day took a turn for the better when our lovely neighbours surprised E with an early gift!  How nice!

Check out Day 15!

My little guy is so tired, but he's still adorable!

The gingerbread & light brads are from Eyelet Outlet, the tree brad is a dollar store find.

I cut the craft paper pouch from a bag from my last scrappy shopping trip!  I used edge scissors and added some ribbon  to jazz it up.

Inside the pouch are 3 more photos of E opening his surprise gift (Rudolf stuffy & a cozy blanket - perfect for sick days!).  I journaled on 2 tags and made them into a flip book with jewelry rings.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm loving using pockets and pouches to hold extra photos!  I also really like the interaction of the journalling tags.  Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Scrapping!

  1. Aaaw, what an adorable layout! Your little guy looks so tired...I hate that when my kids were sick. I just felt so bad when there wasn't a thing you could really do for them.
I really like your idea of your paper pouches. I will have to remember that idea:) TFS!

  4. Thanks Caprice! Aren't they sweet? Eyelet Outlet is a very dangerous site for my credit card, LOL!
