25 Days Of Christmas!

I'm sure most scrappers have heard of the December Daily Album (Thank you Ali Edwards!), made one themselves or both.  Last year was my first attempt at the 25 Days Of Christmas Album.  I think I got myself in a little over my head last Christmas.  I took pictures almost every day of the month until the big day and had planned on filling in the missing days with family traditions, stories and more.

Of course the operative word here is "planned".  I started it and somehow my album took up long term residence in my "Projects In Progress" bucket.  Seriously, why does that always happen??  Now that I'm feeling the Christmas season, I've dug it out & will be working on it for the next couple weeks.  Yay!

This year, I'm doing an advent themed December Daily Album.  It will depict pictures of E opening his advent calendar everyday until Christmas Eve.  So far I've been very good about getting my daily pics!

I wish I could remember all the supplies I used.  I did try to tie in all the pages together by repeating the way I numbered each page.  I used 3 squares, pop dotted the middle one & used different number fonts & patterned paper.  Here's a look at the first 5 days of my daily album 2010:  Super picture heavy!!

Day 1:  Double LO left side

I really like that each page is numbered in the same way, plus it helped me use up a ton of leftover stickers!

Day1:  Right side

I made these hanging tags from metal rimmed tags & Doodlebug brads - Love them!

Day 2:  My section Christmas Party

Day 3:  I used the ornament card from the Wild Card cartridge.  I liked the idea of making different sized & shaped pages.

Inside Day 3

I used a cute mini file folder to hide my journalling.  I love dollar store finds!

Day 4:  The green paw prints in the corner are punched through the paper & backed with green cardstock.

Isn't she cute?  And I love the little tickets!

Day 5:  Prepping to trim the tree!

I love the simplicity & these cute Doodlebug letters.  Can you tell I'm a Doodlebug junkie?

As I said, I'll be working on finishing this album while I take my daily pictures of E having a blast with his advent each night.  Once the 2010 album is complete & I find a fabulous album base I'll get a start on 2011. It seems I have some issues finishing some projects, darn procrastinator in me!  But with the success of my cards, I'm energized to tackle more Christmas fun!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on my pages, I cherish each & every comment!

Happy Scrapping!
